Wet Flies and Soft Hackles

As much as I like the exciting take of a foam bug or popper off the surface, I fish these style flies more often.  Why? Because they work. Simply put wet flies and soft hackles are often more productive than dry flies.  The down side is takes can be difficult to detect under some conditions.
