As you may have noticed, things have been quiet around here over the last two months. A major renovation took place here at Panfish On The Fly Central that effectively shut things down for a while. There was also some traveling to fish far off places that kept me away from home! Things have returned to normal and we will once again be moving forward. Blog posts will resume, the shop has reopened, and I am once again taking fly orders.

Chain pickerel are members of the pike family, and like their larger cousins, they have mouths filled with razor-sharp teeth. These teeth, as well as sharp gill plates, give them the ability to rob fisherman of their expensive flies and lures if precautionary measures are not taken.
