This Friday’s reader submitted pattern is the Wicket Cricket by Brandon Combs. This top water pattern is easy to tie and as the photos show quite effective on bluegill and other panfish. The color of the foam and underbody can be changed to suite your needs.

Wicked Cricket in Hopper color scheme

Hook: Firehole 718 size 12

Underbody: Hareline Furry Foam 3-5mm wide

Body, Head and Wing: 2mm thick strip of craft foam 6-8mm wide

Legs: Centipede Legs
